    The Department of Technology Management in the College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide (ERAU-W) welcomes applications for a 10-month
    Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor position. This position is at the ERAU-Worldwide campus in Daytona Beach, FL.

    Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the disciplines including: applied business analytics, business intelligence, informatics, big data and data mining, and other in-discipline topics via traditional classroom delivery, hybrid, online, and/or interactive teleconferenced learning technologies. The faculty member will also develop and maintain courses and update curricula as needed to maintain a rich, relevant, and rigorous learning environment.  Other areas of responsibility include participating in scholarly activities, as well as service to the Department of Technology Management, College of Business, and the University. Faculty must be willing to travel to attend meetings and conferences. This particular position will also be integral to the formation and launch of the newly funded Aviation Analytics and Risk Management Center of Excellence.

    The Department of Technology Management houses 17 full-time faculty and approximately 100 adjuncts in four disciplines: Management of Information
    Systems, Applied Information Technologies, Business Analytics and Data Mining, and Information Security and Assurance. 
    These four disciplines contain 67 courses that serve two graduate programs, two majors, and the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy, as well as provide technology courses to other degree programs and the business core.  The department directly serves 225 majors and 130 graduate students, and has a growing research footprint in enterprise architecture, knowledge management, technology acceptance models, teaching technology as well as other related technology topics.

    The College of Business - Worldwide (COB-W) consists of 5 departments; the Department of Technology Management, Department of Organizational Leadership,
    Department of Management, Department of Decision Sciences, and the Department of Business Administration. The college serves a total of 7,918 students and 30,157 annual course registrations across a total of 3 Associates, 4 Bachelors, and 8 Master’s programs and awarded 1,468 degrees last academic year.  COB-W programs are offered online and at over 100 campus sites across the country, as well as in Asia and Brazil.  The college has a strong connection with the aerospace industry and also offers select courses through the Office of Professional Education and through other industry partnerships.  In addition, the COB-W houses a new Aviation Analytics and Risk Management Center of Excellence (AARM CoE).
