    A Lecturer is a full-time employee who teaches and provides student and learning support services during the assigned periods. Ten-month lecturers teach 30 credits per year; twelve-month lecturers teach 39 credits per year. The Lecturer holds a strong commitment to teaching; maintains office and advising hours for students; actively participates in the university community; and does related work as required. This is a non-tenure track position that may be renewed on an annual basis. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. Courses may be taught at the Union campus and/or Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations. All Lecturers may be required to teach General Education courses. Positions are effective for the fall semester.

    College of Business and Public Management

    School of Criminal Justice and Public Administration
    Public Administration - to teach general areas of study in Public Administration with the ability to provide student services support. Specific responsibilities include developing, teaching and updating undergraduate courses in Public Administration. Additional duties will include the organization and supervision of student internships for undergraduate and graduate students. Master’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Public Policy or a related field and a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required. Doctorate in Public Administration, Management, Public Policy or a related field is preferred.
