    The College of Professional Studies is seeking applications for adjunct teaching positions from qualified candidates in the following non-credit, certificate based programs:

    [*] Project Management
    [*] Six Sigma (Yellow, Green, Black, Master Black Belt)
    [*] Lean Six Sigma (Green, Black, Master Black Belt)
    [*] Design of Experiments
    [*] Design for Six Sigma [/list]

    [b]Duties and Responsibilities[/b]

    [list]
    [*] Preparation of weekly class schedule syllabus additional referenced materials and teaching tools for classroom and online delivery.
    [*] Teach required material(s) to students using technology tools provided by the University.
    [*] Provide an environment of learning that is welcoming, interactive and focused.
    [*] Provide administrative tasks, including but not limited to, distribution of materials, attendance monitoring, reporting of activities to a CPS administrator and submission of final grades.
    [*] Attend faculty meetings as required. [/list]

    [b]Minimum Qualifications[/b]

    Bachelors Degree required for all adjunct faculty.
    [list]
    [*] 3-5 years Professional experience in topics.
    [*] Prior teaching experience required.
    [*] Proven ability to teach successfully
    [/list]

    both in the classroom and/or online.
    [list]
    [*] Experience with Learning Management
    [/list]

    Systems.
    [list]
    [*] Strong understanding of adult learning principles. [/list]

    [b]Preferred Qualifications[/b]

    [list]
    [*] Masters Degree preferred for all adjunct faculty.
    [*] Industry certification where appropriate. [/list]

    [b]Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours[/b]

    [list]
    [*] Standing for period up up to 3 hours at a time.
    [*] Courses are taught primarily nights between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m Monday through Friday and also on Saturdays (depends on program). [/list]
