The College of Business, Pacific University, Oregon invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor of marketing to serve the undergraduate and graduate business programs beginning in Fall 2018.

The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in marketing from an AACSB accredited doctoral program (ABD candidates will be considered if evidence of successful completion can be provided before the start date), excellent teaching credentials, a strong potential for research that will lead to scholarly work publishable in refereed journals, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and possess the ability to teach, advise, and relate to our diverse student population.

In addition to core marketing courses, willingness to teach in new areas of marketing such as social media marketing, e-commerce and digital marketing, data driven approaches/analytics is important. A typical course load is 5 courses per year. We seek candidates interested in engaging the local business community as well as building career and internship opportunities for our marketing students.
