As the Dean of the School of Business & Quality Management at HBMSU, the house of quality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education in the region. Your leadership will contribute to HBMSU's commitment to smart learning, innovation, and quality management. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a school that specializes in delivering up-to-date programs relevant to the Middle East region, with a focus on business, quality management, and related areas.
 
Under the visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) is at the forefront of smart learning, committed to fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and research. Since its establishment in 2002, HBMSU has been a pioneer in smart education, and quality management, creating a learner-centric environment that utilizes cutting-edge technologies to provide diverse and innovative learning experiences.
 
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic and strategic leadership within the School, aligning with HBMSU's vision of smart learning innovation.
  • Foster a learner-centered approach, leveraging smart technologies and practice-based methodologies.
  • Lead the School's transition into the future, ensuring excellence in education and community engagement.
  • Oversee academic programs, faculty, and contribute to the growth of the School, aligning with HBMSU's commitment to providing diverse and innovative learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the School's position as a leader in  quality management and smart business education globally.
  • Drive initiatives that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and a quality mindset among lifelong learners.

 

Required Qualification & Skills:
  • Doctorate in a relevant field.
  • Academic rank as Full Professor.
  • Proven leadership experience in a university setting.
  • Strong record of research, scholarship, and teaching.
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
