Nanyang Business school is looking for a Research Assistant to work on projects on (1) AI-augmented healthcare delivery, and (2) labor practices in global supply chain. The role will focus on analyzing data and conducting casual inferences to evaluate the implications of technology adoption and policy changes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative data analysis using statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, Python)

  • Design and implement causal inference methodologies (e.g., difference-in-differences, instrumental variables, regression discontinuity, matching techniques)

  • Evaluate implications of technology adoption (AI systems in healthcare workflows)

  • Evaluate implications of policy interventions (labor regulations in supply chains)

  • Clean, manage, and structure complex datasets

  • Synthesize literature and support manuscript development

  • Collaborate on research design, robustness checks, and visualization of results

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • Experience in programming and econometric analysis

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • A strong interest in pursuing a PhD in Operations Management is a plus
