International Business Human Resources Business - General
THEPOSITION RIT Dubai is currently seeking exceptional candidates with interdisciplinary interests in a wide range of topics in two or more of the following areas: management, international business, human resources, leadership, service. Qualified applicants will be Scholarly Academic (research active) according to AACSB standards and be ready to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses. The preferred start date for the position is fall 2018 with the possibility of a January 2019 start in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position located at the Dubai campus.
PhD from an accredited institution in one of the areas listed above
Documented experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Ability to apply training or experience to real world problems and situations
Excellent communication skills.
The new faculty member will teach up to four courses each semester, including capstone research courses. Other duties include student advising, participation in committee work, mentoring students doing research and applied projects, and helping build relationships with industry and government professionals. An ongoing research agenda is expected of all faculty at RIT-Dubai.
PhD from an AACSB accredited institution
Experience working in the service industry in a leadership position
Research in service, leadership, and/or innovation
Experience living/working in a multicultural environment
