Housed in the College of Business at the University of North Texas, the Bachelor of Business Administration with a Sport Entertainment Track (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Sport Entertainment Management, are offered in collaboration with the Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation. To further develop and expand both degree options, the College of Business is searching for a tenure-track faculty member to support the current Director. Both degrees are highly specialized to provide students with direct pathways to work in the professional sport entertainment industry. The faculty member will be housed in the Department of Management and will split their time between the main campus in Denton, TX, and the new college in Frisco, TX. The faculty member will be asked to divide their time between teaching two courses per semester, maintaining an active research agenda, and support/direct the development of online professional and executive education.
- A PhD in Sport Management or a related discipline
- An established track record of publications in journals classified as ‘A-journals’ by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC).
