North Carolina State University’s Poole College of Management educates tomorrow’s leaders through the University’s active integration of teaching, research, and engagement. At the undergraduate level, the Department of Economics offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Economics. The department also offers a Master’s of Economics degree as well as a Ph.D. in Economics. Fields of concentration include Econometrics, Microeconomics/IO, Environmental Economics, Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and International Economics.

The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant-professor level in labor and health economics. The expectation is that an appointee will engage in high-quality research resulting in publications in leading general interest and field journals. The appointee must also be an effective teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels and provide service to the department, college, and university.
