The School of Business and Economics at Michigan Technological University invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position in Supply Chain and Operations Management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level starting August 2019. Preference will be given to candidates who will be able to support teaching in several of the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Six Sigma, Logistics, Purchasing, Project Management and Business Development, which has students evaluate the business potential of real-world technology-based projects. The prospective candidate ideally supports a student-centric, learner-oriented, experiential approach to instruction.

2. Conduct rigorous and innovative research, and publish in high quality, peer-reviewed journals.
3. Engage in service activities and in the scholarly community both on- and off-campus.
4. Support a student-centric, learner-oriented, experiential approach to instruction.
5. Apply safety-related knowledge, skills, and practices to everyday work.
6. Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work.
