The Department of Merchandising and Digital Retailing seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
1) Retail math (Excel), 2) E-commerce platforms and website development, 2) digital retail analytic, 3) consumer experiences, 4) trend analysis and forecasting, 5) global consumers, 6) global sourcing, 7) sustainable merchandising, 8) aesthetics and the environment, and 9) brand development, 10) retailing, 11) visual merchandising and promotion, 12) social psychology of dress, 13) historic costume, 14) consumer behavior.
Master’s degree in retail/merchandising or closely aligned field with graduate work or industry expertise in course content.
