The Schnatter Institute for the Study of Free Enterprise at the University of Kentucky is pleased to invite applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, Lecturer in Entrepreneurship position, beginning in the Fall, 2018. Contract is for two years and renewable. This position will be affiliated with the College’s Schnatter Institute for the Study of Free Enterprise. The specific academic home for the position will be determined by the candidates qualifications and interests, but will likely be either the Department of Management, Economics, or Finance and Quantitative Methods. The ideal candidate would have prior teaching experience, significant managerial and/or entrepreneurial experience, and educational credentials such as an MBA, Juris Doctorate, CPA, or PhD in Management, Economics, Finance, or related fields.

The primary job responsibilities will be teaching classes to undergraduates and MBA students in entrepreneurship. Other duties will include working with students in our Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship, coaching student teams participating in pitch competitions, developing internship and job placement opportunities, as well as working with the staff in the Von Allmen center to develop closer relationships with angel investing groups in Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati.
