The Marketing Department at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park, is currently seeking a Professional Track faculty member to begin Fall 2018. Depending on background and qualifications, applicants may be considered for either a Senior Lecturer or a Clinical Associate Professor position. This full-time, non-tenure track role has associated teaching responsibilities of between 21 (Clinical Associate) and 24 (Senior Lecturer) credits per academic year. Clinical Associate Professors are also expected to engage in service responsibilities in the department, the school, and/or the university.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must be able to teach a broad range of courses with a heavy emphasis on marketing analytics applications at the undergraduate and Masters' level. Courses take place at our College Park, MD campus, as well as at satellite locations in Baltimore, MD, Rockville, MD, and Washington, DC. Depending on the program, courses may be held during the day, evenings, and weekends. Faculty members are expected to teach some courses at the satellite locations during non-traditional hours. Evidence of teaching quality and ability to provide leadership in teaching excellence are the most important qualifications. A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the university level with excellent evaluations is required. A PhD is desired but not required. Significant industry experience at the executive level may compensate for lack of PhD degree.
