THE OPPORTUNITY 

College of Business & Management and College of Arts & Sciences are looking for Talented Research-focused Faculty in the following areas: 

• Areas of interest: Green Societies and Green Transformation; Socio-ecological Diversity; Innovation and Cultural Heritage Conservation, Policy Lab. 

• Ranks: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 

The faculty members will be responsible for three primary responsibilities: 

• Research: Perform original research, and publish scientific findings in top venues with high citations, supervise student research. Your research projects will be implemented in collaboration with Research Center of Policy Development and Sustainable Societies to foster impactful outcomes. 

• Teaching: Develop and instruct classes, provide academic advising, and participate in developing the programs and curriculum that meet the quality standards. 

• Service: Assist with recruitment, admission, service to the university, profession, and community.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• A start-up fund of up to US$200,000 to establish the research pipeline, supporting the recruitment of Research Fellows and Research Assistants. 

• Applications for Seed Grants and substantial research funding, with project allocations up to US$500,000 for larger initiatives.

LIVING AND WORKING IN HANOI, VIETNAM 

• Work permit: VinUniversity will assist in and provide advice for obtaining the necessary paperwork needed for employment in Vietnam (visa, work permit, insurance, etc.). However, it is your responsibility to ensure that you can satisfy all the paper requirements in a timely manner.
