The Harbert College of Business, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama seeks applications for an open rank, tenure track position in Marketing beginning fall, 2019. Appointment rank will be contingent upon qualifications. The Auburn Marketing program includes an undergraduate major and support of our MBA programs. The successful candidate for this position will join an existing faculty team that currently includes nine tenured, tenure track, and full-time professionally qualified faculty. The Marketing department is strategically a "managerial marketing" department. We focus on strategy, sales, research, analytics, services, advertising, and ethics and social responsibility.

This faculty position will support the existing marketing program by adding to already existing capabilities. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a sufficient level of research productivity for their rank and help to build on already existing instructional capabilities of the marketing department.

Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in business or ABD near completion, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution at the time employment begins. Evidence of high-level scholarship and a consistent commitment to the establishment of a strong scholarship record are desired. Excellent instructional capabilities and history are necessary, as are excellent written and communication skills and a collegial demeanor. Selected candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of appointment and continue working legally for the term of employment.
