  • Business Data Analyst

    Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide is seeking
    an experienced business data analyst who can lead strategic analysis that supports planning across a broad range of
    Worldwide’s academic and administrative areas. The successful candidate will
    actively participate in meetings with leadership team members, deans and
    directors across Worldwide to ensure data reporting requirements are being met.
    The analyst will be
    responsible for incorporating and integrating data from various sources (i.e.
    SIS, CRM, LMS, etc.) and develop policies and procedures for the collection and
    analysis of data, a data dictionary and code library where all changes are
    documented/dated, create reports and queries to support the mission of ERAU
    Worldwide and work on highly complex, cross-functional, and business intelligence
    The position reports to the Chief Business Officer,
    Worldwide.Additional duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:Leverage expert business/analytical
    knowledge to inform or lead discussions with cross-functional teams to
    understand and collaborate highly complex business objectives and influence
    solution strategies. Integrate/transform disparate data sources
    and determines the appropriate data hygiene techniques to apply. Establish documentation for assumptions,
    methodologies, validation, and testing to facilitate peer review and analysis. Leverage visual analytics to articulate
    business trends and to display performance of implemented strategies across
    academic programs. Apply innovative and
    scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make
    ‘insight to action’ recommendations to
    address complex business questions and drive effective change.
