    The Center for Sport Management at Drexel University seeks applications for a full time, non-tenure track position at the assistant/associate teaching professor level. The Center for Sport Management operates undergraduate and graduate degree programs that are rigorous and business focused. The Center is formally aligned with the LeBow College of Business. Approximately 130 undergraduate students and 40 MS students are currently enrolled in Sport Management programs. We seek a high quality scholar with research, expertise, and teaching experience in two or more of the following areas: sport marketing, market research in sport, sport promotions and sales, sport law, sport organization and administration, sport media, international sport, e-sports, or sport analytics. Applicants from all disciplines related to administration and management of sport organizations will be considered. This appointment is to begin September 1, 2018.

    Qualifications:
    Ph.D., J.D., or an appropriate terminal degree in a field relevant to sport management. A demonstrated record of successful teaching, service, and the potential for conducting high quality research. Desirable qualifications include: evidence of excellence in teaching, excellent verbal and written communication skills, interest in a highly collaborative faculty environment, experience in and enthusiasm to teach face-to-face and online or hybrid courses. The Center for Sport Management is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.     Essential Functions:
    Instruction of courses in sport management at the undergraduate and graduate levels, scholarly research and publications. Teaching will occur at Drexel University's Main Campus and may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses, both on-site and online. Other required activities include helping to facilitate experiential learning and cooperative placement opportunities for students within the sport management industry, serving on Center, College, and University committees and participating in professional and industry activities.
