    The Department of Business Management in the Poole College of Management is home to faculty in the areas of marketing, finance, operations & supply chain management, and information technology. Faculty works closely with our centers and initiatives, which include the Consumer Innovation Collaborative and the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative.

    The Poole College of Management at NC State University actively engages with industry and academia to create an innovative and collaborative intellectual environment that fosters learning, scholarship, and service. We focus on developing and supporting leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset and analytical problem-solving capabilities to positively impact our data-rich, dynamic, global economy.

    The Marketing area comprises a strong mix of junior and senior scholars with a diverse set of methodological skill sets. The area maintains a collegial atmosphere and a shared interest in how our individual research contributes to future marketplace success, especially in forward-looking perspectives and knowledge that facilitates change or innovation.

    The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research agenda in marketing, commensurate with our status as a Research 1 university. Methodologies of interest include in-lab experimentation, field experimentation, and qualitative (CCT) methods.

    The successful candidate will be expected to teach marketing courses at the graduate (MBA) level. We offer courses both online and in person, both at our Main Campus location and at our Research Triangle Park Location. Importantly, the successful candidate will be expected to take a leadership role in the Consumer Innovation Collaborative (https://poole.ncsu.edu/cic/). In particular, this engagement will involve interacting with corporate partners, managing student research, and promote interdisciplinary seminars on issues relevant to consumer theory and the marketplace. The Consumer Innovation Collaborative maintains active research relationships with students and faculty in design, anthropology, communication, textiles, and engineering.
