European Business School (EBS) is the oldest private business school in Germany.

The Strascheg Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIIE) at EBS is a leading academic institution in Germany and is focused on international expansion.
With a team of more than 30 Professors, Assistant Professors, doctoral candidates, project managers and administrative staff, SIIE delivers cutting-edge research, teaching and executive education, in the areas of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, as well as Project Management and Performance Measurement.
Pursuing a course of dynamic expansion, SIIE is seeking to appoint two Assistant Professors in Innovation Management/Project Management and Project Controlling, with a particular focus on Service Industries (e.g., Aviation Industry).
Each applicant is expected to meet the following requirements:
- (Near to) completion of a doctorate, with a demonstrable record of academic and professional achievement and experience in Innovation Management or Project Management. (Applicants with the willingness to build up expertise in these fields and with profound experience in Service Management are also encouraged to apply).
- Ability to play a significant role in research projects and management, particularly to provide leadership for the Competence Center Aviation Management, develop the research skills of existing staff, acquire external research grants and supervise higher degree research students.
- Capacity to undertake quality research, in order to establish a record of refereed publications in recognized international journals.
- Demonstrate excellence and innovation in quality teaching.
The positions will be available from January 2010 onward.
The selection committee will start reviewing applications from October 2009 on.
