Management Faculty Position -- Department of Management & Management Information Systems
Effective August 16, 2010.
Full-time, Tenure-track, (9) month position, within the College of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Responsibilities: This is a full-time, Tenure-track Position, with teaching as a primary focus.
The successful candidate will teach 24 contact hours per year, serve on Departmental and College committees, develop and maintain curriculum and stay current in their discipline.
Applicants who are able to teach a wide variety of Business courses in the Quantitative Areas (Statistics, Management Science, Production/Ops Management), as well as a secondary area of expertise in General Management Areas (Strategic Management, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior) are of particular interest to the Department. The successful candidate will also participate in both on- and off-campus Staff development activities, participate in College and community service and assist with student advising and recruitment.
Departmental curriculum is delivered via in-seat and online modalities, utilizing Blackboard.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess Ph.D.s or D.B.A.s in a field of Management at commencement of the appointment. Experience with online course development and delivery are preferred and candidates must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with a diverse student population.
