Job Description
Milwaukee School of Engineering invites applications for the Chair of the Rader School of Business. The Chair reports to the Vice President of Academics and has overall responsibility for the School’s academic programs including all administrative, budgetary, scheduling and personnel decisions. The Chair is also responsible for the management of the Professional Education Department within the School. This is a twelve-month position and will carry an Associate or Full Professor rank commensurate with experience and credentials. The application deadline is January 31, 2018.
 
The successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership capabilities, must promote the professional development of the faculty, and must have the desire to expand collaborations with industry, government and other academic programs at Milwaukee School of Engineering. The candidate is expected to work with the School’s faculty and Industry Advisory Board in a variety of areas such as growing enrollment in the School’s programs and identifying opportunities for new offerings for the academic and Professional Education programs. An earned doctorate in one of the School’s fields of study or a closely related field is required. The candidate must also possess significant post-secondary teaching experience and have industry experience in a field related to the School’s offerings.
