Kean University also operates a unique, additional location in Wenzhou, China, where development of a full-scale campus is currently underway.

All open faculty positions are ten-month, full-time, tenure-track assignments at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective for the fall 2020 semester, unless otherwise indicated. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses.
Courses may be taught at the Union campus, Kean Ocean, Kean Skylands or other locations.

All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college, university and community level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. All positions are subject to availability of funds, due to financial exigencies.

College of Business and Public Management

School of Management and Marketing
Management (Management Information Systems) – to teach and conduct research in Management Information Systems; Informatics; Project Management; Advanced topics in MIS; Operations Management; and other upper level courses at the Union and Ocean campuses. There is an opportunity to teach in both the undergraduate and MBA programs. In addition to teaching and research, responsibilities include student advisement, ongoing program assessment work, assisting with the development and growth of a program and supporting the University’s AACSB accreditation initiative.

Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Management or a related field; teaching experience; and a strong interest in research is required. A Doctorate degree from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution is preferred. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2020. Relevant practical business experience is desired.
