The Department of Finance in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured position in the Finance Department. This appointment will start in Fall 2022 and may be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, depending on qualifications.

Fields of Emphasis: All areas in finance are welcome, with preference in Banking/Financial Institutions.

Requirements: PhD. preferred, ABD acceptable. We are seeking individuals who aspire to be or have a proven track record as excellent scholars and teachers, depending upon experience.

Research: Applicants should have a strong research record or demonstrate potential for high quality research publications.

Teaching: Teaching responsibilities will be both at the undergraduate and MBA/MS levels, with expectation of teaching excellence.

Salary: Competitive.

The Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago is an AACSB accredited institution. It has approximately 2,000+ undergraduate and 600+ graduate students, 85 full-time faculty and four endowed chairs. The School is located in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast, just west of Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s historical Water Tower. This location provides the School with close connections to Chicago financial and business communities. The School also operates academic and executive programs in Rome, Vietnam, and China, among other campuses. The School supports an undergraduate full-time and part-time students, an EMBA and other executive education programs, and several specialty masters programs including a Master of Science in Finance. Quinlan’s undergraduate business program was recently ranked No. 81 (U.S. News & World Report, 2021), and the part-time MBA program was ranked No.36 (U.S. News & World Report, 2022) in the nation.
