A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Hospitality Management or a related qualification with at least four years of lecturing experience or hospitality operations and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach in the following areas: Hospitality Management, Operations Management, Properties and Facilities Management as well as supervising research projects/mini-theses / theses at both under-and post-graduate levels. Ability to establish professional networks and to maintain links with the industry, as well as experience in developing programmes. Experience in initiating research projects, sourcing of funding and strong managerial / organisational skills. A credible record of teaching, publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a relevant Doctorate, will be an advantage. A driving licence is compulsory.
