Primary Purpose of Position
This position supports our efforts toward NCA&TSU Preeminence 2023 goals. The faculty member to be hired will assist the department efforts toward enhancing excellence of a learning-centered environment with dynamic intellectual exchange and a strong experiential component to our Supply Chain Management curriculum.
This is a 9-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The faculty member will be responsible for developing and delivering course content in supply chain management.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management (MSCM) is one of the five academic departments in the College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University (NCA&TSU). Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, NCA&TSU is a public, doctoral/research, 1890 land-grant university committed to exemplary teaching and learning, scholarly and creative research, and effective disciplinary and community engagement and public service.
The Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department currently offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and a graduate Master of Business Administration degree with a Supply Chain Management concentration.
The mission of the department is educational relevance to ensure performance readiness. We embed relevant learning experiences, while infusing appropriate technology signaling to external constituents that our students are ready to perform, with excellence.
This position requires an earned doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Management with a concentration or dissertation focused on Supply Chain Management from an AACSB International accredited business program by the anticipated date of appointment.
Experience in teaching at least one 3-credit hour course in supply chain management or related subject at the university level. Department is particularly interested in those with expertise in healthcare, trucking transportation, and related subjects
