As part of the School’s investment plan, applications are invited for the position of Lecturer (Above the Bar, Full time, 1 x Permanent, 1 x Specific purpose contract) in Business Information Systems within the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at NUI Galway. We are seeking talented individuals with expertise in one or more of the key areas of Business Information Systems, in particular: Digital Business, IS Security, Business Analytics, IS Project Management, and Cloud Computing. Supporting the School’s strategic focus on Digitalisation, the new appointee will be expected to develop an outstanding programme of research and teaching in Business Information Systems.
Candidates should indicate in their application which post(s) they wish to be considered for (Permanent or Specific purpose contract). Where a preference is not indicated, it will be assumed that candidates are applying for both posts.
In addition to the two advertised posts, there is a possibility of an additional post arising which may be filled from this competition, subject to relevant University approval.
