Responsibilities

Leads efforts to conduct highly complex analyses across a broad spectrum of programs.
  • Builds in-depth, complex analyses as a specialist (e.g. international student employment opportunities and outcomes). Works with the Sr. Director of Coaching and Programming to strategize program improvement for: attendance, student satisfaction and learning outcomes. Determines cost/benefit analysis of various programs. Prepares advising outcome reports and makes recommendations about future hour allocation for adjunct and industry specialist programs. Shares utilization and feedback with industry specialists and adjunct advisors. Oversees design and collection of qualitative feedback from students in workshops and programs to influence real-time adjustments and design of future content.


Develops and coordinates program communications; formulates strategies for education and enforcement.
  • Defines student usage policy for career coaches and industry specialists. Administers appointment career system and messaging. Guides marketing and communication with students on career programming.


Develops and advocates solutions to organizational or program issues, including developing and administering new systems, policies, processes, or programs.

Provides analyses for complex career management data, resource utilization, and other related projects.
  • Develops and analyzes reports to learn more about career program utilization by MBA audiences.


Proposes, leads and participates in policy, strategy and planning committees and working groups.
  • Leads curricular planning and resource management, project manages new content development and follows through with all levels of staff in the organization to provide yearly program execution plans. Collaborates with external partners such as Alumni Relations, the Academic and Student Experience teams to develop new programs while minimizing conflicts. Keeping an eye on organizational goals, provides feedback to ensure teams, programs and content match the overall strategic direction of the organization Leads Career Week annually. Partners with career club leaders to plan industry content & events for their membership and to support communications as appropriate. Works with Operations Program Managers to oversee the timing and execution alignment of programs across all the MBA programs to minimize conflicts and manage resource deployment.


Researches and summarizes best practices in hiring practices and leadership development to inform MBA career programs.

Develops proposals and recommendations to guide and support a broader strategic direction for the Career Management Group.
  • Leads and directs a wide variety of projects regarding student and alumni career education.


Monitors new programs and processes. Conducts post-implementation analysis, in collaboration with partners, to determine the need for further enhancements and/or additional career programs based on feedback from students and employers.
  • Incorporates feedback from employer and student surveys into the planning cycle for the following academic cycle. Using collected data (attendance and satisfaction), advises balancing the delivery of group and individual programs to create a more bespoke student experience. Using influence and data, guides the development of programming to enhance the development of student career learning and leadership communities. Guides and directs planning of Industry Readiness Programs and Content which include senior Haas leaders and external constituencies. Leads Industry Readiness strategy analyzing employment data, researching industry trends and collaborating with industry experts. Develops and manages budget for all industry readiness programs including the Peer Advisor program and the Industry Specialist program. Partners with CMG staff to evaluate current and future industry programs and creates a plan that includes primers, meetups and additional workshops and industry event dependent on student interests. Ensures all information is clearly communicated to students, panelists and CMG stakeholders. Partners with CMG Administrative Assistant to Oversees execution of all industry readiness events. Manages Industry Readiness content library including leading annual content review and organization of content on the CMG Resources page. Manages selection and oversight of external vendors and contractors for industry readiness programs.


Supervises a programming team including a program manager, a program coordinator and numerous undergraduate and MBA student workers.

Required Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of leadership development practices and understanding of adult learning theory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and influence, both verbally and in writing. Uses discretion and maintains confidentiality. Advanced project management skills. Thorough knowledge of organizational or initiative processes, protocols and procedures. Strong mulit-tasking skills, including keeping organized with tasks under demanding timeframes. Advanced analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a desire to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to establish and maintain positive & professional working relationships with colleagues, students and team members. Exemplifies Haas' four Defining Leadership Principles: (1) Question the status quo; (2) Confidence without attitude;(3) Students always; and (4) Beyond yourself. Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in a business, organization or public university setting. Education/Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.


Salary & Benefits

This is a 100% time (40-hrs a week), monthly paid, exempt position. Annual salary is commensurate with experience up to $98,000.00.
