Applications are invited for an appointment as Senior Lecturer /Lecturer Above the Bar (Type B) in Entrepreneurship & Strategy within the Discipline of Management, J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at NUI Galway. The successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to the emergent Centre for Entrepreneurial Growth & Scaling at the School of Business & Economics. Candidates should indicate the grade they are applying for i.e. Senior Lecturer or Lecturer Above the Bar, or both. Candidates will have significant published research output in leading journals commensurate with the goals of the Discipline, School and College. Preference will be given to those with interests and expertise in the intersection between the entrepreneurship and strategy fields. Applicants must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and examining; engage in scholarship and research; assist with administration and the development of the Management Discipline and School of Business and Economics; and contribute to the intellectual life of the University and the wider community.

Salary: €69,617 to €97,571 p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Senior Lecturer scale in line with current Government pay policy)
€65,453 to €84,522 p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Lecturer Above the Bar scale in line with current Government pay policy)
