The Lukenda School of Business at Lake Superior State University invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Management. This position will begin in August 2021.
The successful candidate will be innovative, entrepreneurial, and contribute their academic and professional expertise to students in the Business Administration-Management program. The candidate will also teach business and management core classes to all majors in the School, which include business administration, international business, entrepreneurship, cannabis business, marketing, accounting, finance and economics. Instructional duties will include coursework in management, human resources management, and leadership and other areas depending on the applicant’s areas of expertise. Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Innovation and Solutions, the successful candidate will provide course instruction utilizing multiple teaching formats, including the traditional classroom, internship oversight and/or online delivery.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree or equivalent in management or closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate level course work in management. The desired qualifications include ABD or PhD in management or a closely related field as well as experiences that includes teaching using multiple modalities, non-academic experience in the field, and the ability to teach across business core disciplines.
