UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is looking for someone to help us find and support diverse, mid-to-high growth startups that come from Western NY founders, including UB alumni and students. UB Startup Ventures (SUV) helps Western NY founders build our community’s next great companies by supporting them with capital, mentorship, space, and access to our network of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community partners. This person will attract startups to participate in UB’s
Cultivator program or one of UB’s other
Startup Ventures (SUV) programs, and then provide coaching to these companies, with the goal of positively impacting the Western NY economy.
Under the direction of the Associate Director, Startup Ventures, you as the Startup Success Manager will:
- Build a steady funnel of WNY startups for Cultivator and SUV’s other startup support programs to ensure that SUV’s growth and diversity goals are met. This will be accomplished by leveraging existing startup funnel sources, as well as establishing new sources.
- Coach and mentor startups and leverage UB resources and networks to ensure that SUV client companies are receiving the help they need and are progressing toward significant growth milestones.
