The instructor will be responsible for teaching externally focused project-based courses. The instructor will collaborate with external project clients and colleagues; facilitate project completion; teach introductory functional knowledge, the relationships between the functional areas, language, etiquette, opportunities, and roles of ethics and innovation in modern business; and meet with students as needed.
Anticipated Load: 12 credit hours (4 courses) in the fall and 12 credit hours (4 courses) in the spring

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Construction of a course syllabus, consistent with the common course syllabus, that stipulates course objectives, content, and grading criteria.
* Consultation with project sponsors.
* Preparation of course presentations and instructional materials.
* Delivery of instruction.
* Consultation with and evaluation of students.
* Maintenance of clear records on student performance, as well as any other factors involved with the grading of students such as attendance.
* Compliance with departmental and institutional policies and procedures including but not limited to submitting grades, holding office hours, and adhering to decisions regarding instructional matters such as texts, assignments, grading standards.
* Participation in department and/or institutional assessments of student learning.
* Collaboration with other instructors to enhance instruction, course content, and student success.
* Compliance with institutional procedures such as Title IX, Ethics, FERPA, and any other policies the institution deems applicable.
