The Department of Operations Management and Strategy in the UB School of Management is seeking applicants for the post of Clinical Assistant Professor, with a focus on business strategy instruction, to begin in Spring 2022. This faculty member is expected to excel in the delivery of undergraduate education, as well in matters of technology mediated instruction and course management in the context of large enrollment classes.

Primary duties include:

  • Teaching undergraduate business strategy as a core subject, via video-streaming.
  • Staffing recitation sections through recruiting and supervising multiple graduate teaching assistants
  • Assisting along other dimensions of School of Management undergraduate programming, particularly assessment.

The successful candidate will be required to teach large numbers of undergraduates and manage a small staff of graduate assistants engaged in the same. Experience in managing large enrollment classes and/or experience in technology-mediated instruction is strongly preferred. Industry experience is helpful but not required. Experience in entrepreneurship or project management a plus. The University at Buffalo is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer.
