Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Statistics with the rank of Assistant Professor. The position begins in Fall 2019, and the teaching load is 15 credit hours per year for at least the years leading to the tenure decision. Candidates from all areas of Statistics, including data science, are invited to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in Statistics at the introductory, upper division, and graduate levels.
  • Establish and maintain a research program in your area of expertise.
  • Be an active member of the department, the Villanova community and the profession.


Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in Statistics or related field (or near completion).
  • Commitment to excellence in both teaching and research.
