The Simmons University School of Business is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, to begin July 1, 2020 (start date negotiable).
The successful candidate will be committed to teaching finance and tools of financial analysis and working with students and employers to achieve excellent student outcomes. Additionally, the successful candidate will help to grow the small, practitioner-based finance program, including the repositioning of graduate programs within the School of Business.
We seek an innovative educator and scholar with demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring, creative curriculum development, an active research agenda, evidence of potential for a solid flow of peer-reviewed publications, and ability to maintain currency in the field. Experience in non-academic finance positions, related research activity, and professional impact are also highly valued. The successful candidate will also have outstanding communication skills and enthusiasm for the field that will contribute to teaching excellence and instructional innovation.

- Undergraduate teaching, research, and service to the University;

- Earned doctoral degree in Finance or a related area or a completed doctoral program by Fall 2020;
