The Department of Technology Management and Innovation
at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a full time, non-tenured, renewable Industry Faculty position with a start date of September 1, 2021
. The initial appointment would be for one year, renewable depending on the performance and the program needs.
An Industry Faculty’s primary roles are teaching, mentoring and educational innovation, and the position may also entail some administrative work and outreach. The normal teaching load is 3 courses per academic semester at the Undergraduate and/or Graduate level.
We invite applicants for classroom and laboratory teaching in all areas of Operations Research/Management Science
with particular emphasis on:
Transportation, Transshipment, and Assignment Models
Network Flow Models
You should be an excellent teacher. You should have a Ph.D. in Operations Research/Management Science
or a closely related discipline and a record of industrial experience and/or teaching in these areas.
