Job Description
The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Strategic Management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin September 2023. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise related to strategic leadership and/or technology and innovation.
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field before September 2023. Candidates for an Assistant Professor position must hold (or be near completion of an earned doctorate), demonstrate an ability to publish high quality research, and show promise for effective teaching and interactions with students. Candidates for an Associate Professor position must hold a doctorate in Management and have an established record of high-quality teaching and research, including publications in top scholarly journals.
Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of high quality, teach effectively, and contribute to the academic environment. Regarding research, candidates must have a commitment to research leading to top scholarly publications (FT50). Regarding teaching, candidates are expected to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The School offers excellent support for faculty research and a reasonable teaching load.
