The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a non-tenure track full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Industry Professor level. The principal focus of this position is instruction of Information Systems (IS) courses, curriculum development, and student advising. The expected start date for the position is September 2023.
Stevens Institute of Technology offers Information Systems diplomas at the undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels. Current IS courses at Stevens include Data Management and Design, IS Technology Integration, IT Strategy, Emerging Information Technologies, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Process Innovation and Big Data, among others.
The Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems is one of the largest programs in the School of Business and offers concentrations in Process and Service Innovation, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Project Management. The successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in curricular development, and student advising besides the primary role of instructing graduate and undergraduate classes.
We seek individuals with significant academic and professional experience as well as excellent academic credentials to teach existing as well as newly designed courses in Information systems, Business Intelligence, and Analytics. Successful candidates should possess a PhD in Business, Computer Science, Quantitative methods, or a technology-related discipline, or a post graduate degree with at least 10 years of industrial experience. Experience should include teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate level. The rank of the position will be based on candidate experience and qualifications.
