Full-Time Lecturer Position in Marketing
The Department of Marketing in the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a full-time lecturer position beginning in the Fall 2021 semester. The position requires a master’s degree in business with a focus on marketing or in a closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in marketing and/or business. The degree requirement must be completed by the time of appointment. The candidate must be prepared to educate a diverse population of students in various marketing courses such as principles of marketing, brand management, consumer behavior, marketing research, and global marketing, as needed. The teaching load is four courses per semester. Prior teaching experiences, especially in large classroom settings, are preferred. In addition to teaching, responsibilities for this position may include student advising, committee services, and other service assignments as determined by the department and the college. In brief, we are seeking dynamic and collegial academics who are committed to supporting the college’s mission as a major urban research business school.
The initial appointment as Lecturer in Marketing is for the 2021-2022 academic year. Salary is competitive. Reappointment will depend on performance, departmental needs, and the college’s budgetary situation.
