The AACSB Accredited College of Business at Alfred University invites applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Information Systems, beginning in the Fall of 2019. The teaching load will include undergraduate and MBA courses. In addition to teaching, job responsibilities include classroom management; grading; scholarship/creative work/research; advising; professional activity; and University service.
Founded in 1836 and nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and the Finger Lakes wine region in Western New York State, Alfred University is a small, comprehensive private university with a long-standing tradition of excellence in Liberal Arts and inclusive practices. A Master’s degree in Business or Information Systems is required. Significant work experience in systems design/analysis/implementation and a record of successful teaching experience is also required.
5-10 years work experience in the Information Systems field is required.
