Purpose:The Dickinson School of Business invites applications for a part-time professor who can teach construction management courses at the undergraduate level on campus. Primary teaching responsibilities include one or more of the following courses: CNST 3013 Plans Analysis, CNST 3113 Construction Management, CNST 3213 Mechanical and Electrical Systems for Buildings, CNST 3313 Construction Project Management, and CNST 4023 Construction Estimating.  Essential Functions:  
Prepare and distribute syllabi according to university policyOrganize and direct learning experiences with assigned classes as outlined in the course syllabus and course objectivesKeep accurate class records and submit reports and grades on time and as requestedBe available to students though designated timesTeach 1-3 construction management courses on campusDemonstrate strong pedagogy with respect to curriculum and instructionAssist the chair in setting student learning outcomes for the class that align with the outcomes of the construction management programIncorporate assessment of student learning outcomes into the syllabus for reporting at the end of each course Other Duties 
Assisting with the assessment process and accreditation reporting for the sport management graduate certificate.
 
 Qualifications: Required: 
A master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in construction management or closely related field.Ability to teach courses in construction management Effective communication skillsBe proficient in office technology, office software (including various Microsoft tools), and Learning Management Software (OBU currently uses Canvas as its LMS)Sufficient mobility and physical stamina to teach on-ground courses. Preferred: 
A terminal degree (D.B.A. or Ph.D.) in construction management related fieldSuccessful teaching experience at the university level and industry experience Special Requirements:
