Overview
The Operations Management and Information Systems (OM&IS) department at the College of Business, Northern Illinois University, is seeking to fill one full-time instructor position in the field of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. We seek an instructor who embraces NIU’s mission of empowering students through educational excellence and experiential learning.
We are seeking candidates able to provide high-quality teaching in the areas of Operations Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management. Candidates must be comfortable teaching topics such as quality control, supply chain management, logistics, and/or operations analysis at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Position Summary
The OM&IS Instructor will be responsible for teaching various topics such as quality control, supply chain management, logistics, and/or operations analysis at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching load will be 24 credit hours per academic year.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree;
- 2 years of recent related work experience.
Additional Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior college level teaching experience is a plus.
