Professor of Practice
The Villanova School of Business (VSB) at Villanova University invites applications for appointment to a Professor of Practice position in the Department of Management and Operations. The position has a start date of August 2018.

Duties and Responsibilities
Working within the Department of Management and Operations, the successful candidate is expected to contribute to the development and growth of the VSB curriculum.
This individual is expected to provide service to the department, college, and university, in a way that fosters connections across disciplines and the Villanova community.
The appointment involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a teaching load of four courses per semester.
Masters Degree or terminal degree required in relevant field.
Preference given to candidates with a private sector experience, particularly in the fields of strategy and consulting.

The Department of Management and Operations is an intellectually curious and collegial group that currently includes 18 tenured or tenure-track faculty members and 7 non-tenure track faculty members. The Department publishes in top management, strategy, and entrepreneurship journals, such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organization Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Department members are active in leadership roles within journals and within the Academy of Management. The Department is collegial and works as a team to further individual research interests and teaching objectives.
