Tenure-Track Position in Finance
Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst
The Department of Finance in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst (https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/programs/depts/finance) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member with expertise in any area of finance, and a strong commitment to research, teaching, and community. While we are seeking talented applicants qualified for an assistant professor position, under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2021.
The successful candidate should expect to have earned a Ph.D. in finance or related fields by August 31, 2021; and have the interest and ability to carry out and publish impactful research, teach face to face and in online formats at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise PhD students, and make positive contributions to the department, school, and University communities. We are particularly interested in scholars in the department’s area of distinction, which is asset pricing, but will consider qualified applicants in all areas of finance.
Apply by April 11, 2021 in order to ensure priority consideration. The search may remain open until a suitable candidate pool has been identified, or the position is filled.
