Introduction
The Research Center for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness (ReSC) aims to develop cooperation with leading scientists, entrepreneurship, and sustainability organizations. It also aims to establish a critical mass of high standards research results on business sustainability by organizing a yearly sustainability international conference and by establishing an international journal on sustainable entrepreneurship and competitiveness.
General Description
Research positions at Associate and Full Professor ranks provide opportunities for advancing the research area in Green Finance, and Green Entrepreneurship through state-of-the-art research. The research faculty are expected to be employed full time in research generating a significant impact through Q1 quartile publications and generating impact on their research area. Double affiliation is not allowed for these positions.
Qualifications & Experience (Required)
- A Ph.D. in Business related areas.
- A record of outstanding research, commensurate with years of professional experience, as evidenced by publications, grants and scholarly measures of citations and other impact.
- An outstanding citation records.
- A record of successful research collaborations.
- Experience managing and/or working with multiple researchers, technical staff, post-docs, and doctoral students in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Innovation/ support idea generation for green entrepreneurship
- Marketing Green Entrepreneurship (business and environmental impact)
- Financial models for Green Entrepreneurship
- Financing/funding tools for Green entrepreneurship
- Green accounting (economic and environmental accounting)
- Green IT (environmentally sustainable computing)
- Green HRM (activities aimed at making employees committed to sustainable goals)
- Sustainable Finance (Sustainable finance refers to the process of taking environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into account when making investment decisions in the financial sector, leading to more long-term investments in sustainable economic activities and projects.)

- Strategies for financing the transition to a green economy

- Impact of United Nations SDGs on business sustainability
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead in research in the field of sustainability, green entrepreneurship and green finance
- Acquire in-depth expertise in the leadership of scientific research projects and experience of organizing interdisciplinary scholarly events.
- Collaborate with faculty and students on research topics of common interest.
- Help in teaching one course or two as needed.
- Become an ambassador for the Deanship of Research, for example through publications, outreach activities, and through presentations at workshops and conferences.
- Publish at least six (6) ISI journal papers per year in the relevant areas, and to manage some of PMU’s Research activities including regular international meetings, visits of senior scholars, and scientific advisory boards.
- Write research proposals and generate some external funding and lead groups or teams of research personnel.
- Help to build and develop the existing PMU faculty team of senior scholars and offer them the opportunity to build international collaborations using his/her own contacts and networks.
Remuneration and Benefits
PMU offers an income tax-free compensation package, commensurate with rank and experience, including 12-month salary, PMU accommodation, annual vacation, and annual round-trip airfare to the home country, medical insurance and end of contract benefits.
