Primary Purpose of Position
The Department of Business Information Systems and Analytics is accepting applications for Part-Time instructors. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach computer applications, programming, networking, analytics, and other information systems classes. The maximum teaching load is four three-credit hour courses per semester. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching face-to-face and/or online information systems courses, attending training sessions with faculty, participating in data collection and assessment of student learning, and submitting teaching materials as part of semester review.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Department of Business Information Systems and Analytics supports over 180 undergraduate majors along with providing core business classes for over 1,500 majors in the College of Business and Economics.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree or PhD in Information Systems, Analytics, or a closely related discipline at the time of application.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Candidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.
