The Marketing Manager is passionate about web production and providing a seamless, optimized web experience. This role will manage the workflow for incoming content requests and website changes. S/he will work with stakeholders to understand the requirements and priorities, and plan implementations that result in an optimal site experience for prospective students.

Responsibilities

Produces written communication and layout for a variety of mediums.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of website and email campaigns, including writing copy, Q/A testing, sourcing creative assets, building, publishing and archiving webpages, and publishing email.
  • Updates and maintains HubSpot CMS hosted websites to ensure we are providing prospective students with timely, accurate and actionable information.


Meets and consults with clients on a variety of digital communications projects including moderately complex assignments; develops, presents, and recommends web content, site architecture and visual material.
  • Work with stakeholders in MBA Admissions and Program offices, and members of the Haas Marketing and Communications team to adhere to web and digital marketing best practices.
  • Serve as initial point-of-contact for Admissions teams to address HubSpot related questions and ensure websites are up-to-date.


Accountable for ensuring technical accuracy and understandability of web content.
  • Maintains Berkeley Haas brand across all programs, campaigns and projects. Helps to develop Haas School policies and standards in all marketing material.


Maintains currency with emerging and state-ofthe-art technical and other web-related equipment, requirements and developments (for example, accessibility issues) and recommends and as directed, takes action to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with external agencies including SEO, design, and development partners on various projects including landing pages, website development, and optimization.
  • Identifies problems and outdated pages on HubSpot hosted websites and corrects/updates/archives website components to ensure accuracy.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Thorough knowledge of content management systems and / or relevant web applications used for web production.
  • Thorough knowledge of writing clear, concise marketing messages for email and web. Ability to harness analytic insights to create personalized messages that drive intended behavior and keep with management directives and client objectives.
  • Thorough technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, animation, web interaction, and / or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a desire to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to establish and maintain positive & professional working relationships with colleagues, students and team members.
  • Thorough skills to develop and implement original ideas and correctly identify and effectively solve problems. Strong attention to detail, and exhibits a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience working with Email Service Providers (HubSpot a plus, Marketo, MailChimp, etc.) and Customer Relationship Management software (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Strong experience working with HTML and CSS.
  • Thorough understanding of technical language and requirements of the assigned work.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of organization's processes, procedures, and applicable rules and regulations for web communications.
  • Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way.
  • HubSpot Inbound Marketing certification.


Salary & Benefits

This is an exempt, monthly paid position. Annual salary is commensurate with experience, within the range of $85,000.00 - $98,900.00.
