All open faculty positions are ten-month, full-time, tenure-track assignments at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective for the fall 2020 semester, unless otherwise indicated. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses.
Courses may be taught at the Union campus, Kean Ocean, Kean Skylands or other locations.
All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college, university and community level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. All positions are subject to availability of funds, due to financial exigencies.

School of Accounting and Finance
Finance (Two Positions) – to teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses including, but not limited to: Corporate Finance; International Business Finance; Preparation & Analysis Financial Statements; Investments; Derivatives; Financial Institutions and Markets; and Working Capital Management at the Union and Ocean campuses and provide student advisement. Candidate must have an on-going agenda for research and publication; perform outreach to the professional community; provide vision and guidance in finance education and in the profession; and support the University’s AACSB accreditation initiative.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Finance or a related field; teaching experience; and a strong interest in research is required. A Doctorate degree from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution is preferred. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2020. Relevant practical finance experience is desired.
