The University at Buffalo Department of Accounting & Law is seeking to fill a faculty position in the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2019. Primary duties include conducting accounting research and teaching accounting courses at the undergraduate, MBA/MS, and/or PhD levels. Appointments are expected to play a significant role in the development and delivery of education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as being actively engaged with the accounting profession.
The profile and stature of the UB School of Management is on the rise. The school has been ranked by the Financial Times, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report and The Wall Street Journal for the quality of its programs and the return on investment it provides its graduates. This past year UB ranked as a top-40 MBA program by Bloomberg Businessweek. The Accounting department has a very competitive MS program. Student pass rates on the CPA exam are typically the highest among the ten largest programs in the state of New York. Approximately 85% of MS graduates have employment by the time they graduate.
