    The Department of Global Leadership and Management within the College of Business at Florida International University invites applications for a non-tenure track full-time 9-month instructor position to begin in Fall 2019/Spring 2020. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or terminal degree with an emphasis in Management, Human Resources, or a related field of study. Applicants should have a record of demonstrated excellence in teaching, a potential to make intellectual contributions to the field, and participate in service activities.

    The Department of Global Leadership and Management houses a nationally ranked Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) and BBA in Human Resource Management. Both programs have recently been ranked No. 1 nationally by We are especially interested in applicants who can teach effectively in these high priority programs. We also offer a BBA in Management, as well as a Ph.D., which focuses on topics related to Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Leadership and Cross-cultural management. The undergraduate and graduate programs are offered in a traditional format as well as a fully online format.

    Our faculty are well-regarded scholars in the fields of Human Resources, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and International Management and have published in field’s best journals including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. They also serve on editorial boards of top journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Management.
