    The Finance Department in Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure 10-month track faculty position as a Clinical Assistant Professor. This position will begin with the Spring semester of 2025. We seek an accomplished individual to teach courses to include the senior-level Applied Corporate Finance, an M.B.A. Corporate Finance course, and other courses depending on the background of the individual. These courses are offered in both face-to-face and online formats. Service activities are also expected.


    Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities


    1. Evidence of scholarly activity.

    2. A demonstrated record of managerial success in significant financial positions.

    3. A demonstrated strong interest in working with and mentoring students.


    Minimum Qualifications - Education or training


    The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Finance or a related discipline from an A.A.C.S.B. accredited institution, or an international equivalent.

    Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification
    Preferred Qualifications


    Evidence of successful teaching in both a classroom environment and
    with on-line classes.
